She is JUSTIFIED in sueing Victoria Secret for a defective product like this. What other protection do we as consumners have agains sub-standard work done by overseas contractors that get paid twenty times less than the American worker? Victoria Secret manufactures this product in China, for a production cost of $1.00 each and sells it here in the US for $20.00. Yes they have a right to do that but the quality standards are going down in the name of Profit. They do the same with lead paint in childrens toys, counterfeit electronic products, poisonous pet food, and there are nearsighted people that complain because someone wants to sue them for this??? If you suffered as a result of shoddy workmanship then sue for it. As we turn from a manufacturing economy to a service economy and continue to lose our jobs overseas, thank God we still have the right to defend ourselves from these corporations that try to squeeze as much profit from us as they can (oil ologopolies). If you complain about our right to sue these organisations, then you shouldn’t complain when you or someone you know loses their job to cheaper, substandard workmanship overseas.

it is sad that she will win this case… Her atty is right, it is a case of faulty merchandise. plain and simple. the sad part is that this country has become obsased with law suits. is this the craziest case i have ever heard of…? NO!!! i know of a case where a burgler stole a car out of a garage where it was being stored while the owner was fixing the breaks. the theif wrecked the car just down the street from the owners house because of the breaks. then the theif suied the cars owner for tons of money. the thief won the case…. now that is some f-ed up stuff….

So…She put her thong on backwards, and it popped her in the eye?? Maybe I was looking at it wrong, but when I saw the pic of the underwear, it looked like the heart was on the backside of the thong. Yes, I think maybe Victoria’s Secret’s product may have a lower quality (expensive stuff usually does, though I’ve had no problems with things I’ve bought from there), but for her to sue over this is ridiculous. Her eye looks fine to me. I’ve been popped in the eye by cutting a ziptie in the wrong spot. Am I going to sue the ziptie company, because it hurt like hell for like a minute? NO. Am I blind now because of it, no. If I were her, I’d just refuse to buy anything else from there. She’s going to lose this case, and lose a lot of money paying for her ignorant lawyer. Good job!

He maybe like the prick that tried suing the dry cleaners in new york that ruined his suit and wanted like 53 mill in damages and expected amount they “would” have taken from him from possible years of damaged suits, VS will sue her back for scarring their image.
