I am going to admit that I am not feeling up to the job today, the thought of lookin at pictures of celebrity chicks and writing my stories to them seems fuckin’ boring as shit, but I’ll shape up in the next few minutes, but in the meantime, how about watching this Tommy Lee solo because despite all the cheesy, fake tit, groupie pussy he gets he’s still a fuckin’ loser attention craving drummer in the back of the stage trying to get a little of the glory the rest of the band was getting and that insecurity and really lame execution of a desperate cry makes me feel better than I did about 6 minutes and 41 seconds ago. Enjoy.

Yeah, funny you should mention this. I saw this band play at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New Haven Connecticut a year after this was filmed, and T.L. was still doing the same tired routine with the flying trapeze drum kit. Only problem was, he had a little accident that night. Seems the method of getting off the flying drum kit involved stepping onto a rope which would allow him to be lowered back onto the main stage. Unfortunately the stagehand who was supposed to be manning the other end of the rope was apparently distracted by some fragrantly diseased backstage groupie pooter. Poor stupid Tommy Lee was all mugging for the crowd as he stepped his toe into the rope, and as he put his weight onto the rope it just freewheeled very quickly down to the concrete floor. Resulting in a bashed skull. Paramedics came and carried Tommy Lee away on a stretcher board. The rest of the band came out a few minutes later to call off the show. They claimed they would “come back and do a make-up gig”, but that never happened because the whole band was hooked on drugs. Crue shows were summarily canceled for a few days afterwards, whilst the drummer recovered from a concussion.

That’s one of the shittest drum solos I’ve heard, he still sounds like he’s playing backing to the rest of the band.
