I don’t understand people who protest Scientology. Sure shit may be weird, I mean I never really bothered trying to figure out what it’s all about, what I do know is that it’s something weird, rich, celebrities attach themselves to, so it’s obviously something that insecure egos would attach themselves to. What I do know is that shit involves spirituality and living forever, something I am sure any ego would be drawn to and that it was turned into a religion in the ’50s to avoid paying income tax. I am sure the dude who founded this thing based on a concept that came to him when writing a book is laughing at how much money he has scammed out of these desperate people over the years, but I don’t really get why anyone would care who worships what, or whether Tom Cruise is sitting in his mansion preying to Jesus Christ or sitting in his basement building a fucking spaceship. We all need something to believe in and going out to premieres to let the world know that you think this Scientology shit is bad, is even more desperate as being a fucking Scientologist….

First, it’s useless. I don’t think he could hear a word the were saying nor would he care.

However, I understsnad the reasons to protest. It really IS a cult. If it wasn’t hurting people, I’d say sure, go build rockets in your basement. But it is. They run rehab facilities under fake names (Like St. Jude Thaddeus, catholic saint of hopeless cases). They prey on weak, needy minds. Then there’s the whole “fair game” theory, that they can do anything they want to anyone who is not a scientologist because they are “fair game.”

It’s also a great place for gay people to get protection. John Travolta, Tom Cruise, Will Smith… no wonder they were trying to convert David Beckham.

You should care, if you pay taxes. You’re helping make up the difference in what this cult/business does NOT pay on their gains.

Any religion has it’s crooks, that exploit it to their ends, but this one seems to be phony from the top down. Do some reading about it.

the reason they are protesting is because cruise is promoting the release of the film valkyrie, in which he plays the man claus von stauffenberg, who was part of the plot to assassinate hitler during wwII. what protesters are pissed about is that cruise is such a vocal supporter of scientology, and is now portraying a man on film on who was dead set on killing the leader of another retarded oppressive cult/group of people, which is an abomination and makes no sense.
