my boyfriend went on the second round of her dating show (a shot at love 2) when we had already started dating for some time. from what i understand, several other people on the show at the time were in serious relationships (two were even living with gfs). it is pretty much written in their legal contract (which i have seen) that all the contestants are supposed to act as they are told and say what the producers want to hear (i.e. “i am madly in love with her, i can’t live without her”) when in reality she only spent about an hour a day filming with them, and much of that even had to be redone later. the other hours of the show the contestants spend talking about how much they hate her and how they can make money off promotional appearances from the show. i feel really, really bad for the all the mtv kids who watch the show or anyone who thinks this chick and everything she projects to the world is actually real. this is all really, really sad, and she makes t harder for girls everywhere with authenticity, self-respect, and real careers and success in their lives. we are not all cheap trash like her hell-bent on using our surgically enhanced bodies to get ahead. there’s a word for women who do that…
