Rumour has it that there is going to be a new Spiderman in the next few years. Do you guys think that Carnage should be the next villain?

I liked 2. Three was a joke. Fucking spiderman dancing. Some one shoot me. And was raimi high when he cast dunst as Mary jane? She was supposed to be a face model!

I liked 3 despite it's faults, although Venom was wasted, and not explored well enough, or given enough time. Carnage needs to happen, but Venom still needs to be around, maybe as a side-villain in 4, so that they can fight together in 5 to defeat him. That would be my guess and let it go with 5, unless they want a round number of 6 haha. Th series won't die, because there are 40 years of comic books worth of story to tap for story lines. That is what is great about a lot of the recent and upcoming comic movies.

I think Kraven (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kraven_the_Hunter) would make a great villain, but I doubt it would happen. Not flashy enough.

They have been placing hints at the Lizard being a villain soon, hopefully it is him or Scorpion because I can see them just ruining Carnage like they did Venom.

They fucked the series with 3, so who cares what they do next. Venom could have been the most epic villain ever on screen. Instead we got that 70s villain.

I think that Carnage is too similar to Venom, and they should wait at least a couple movies before they go there again. I am rooting for Mysterio

Sam Raimi downplayed the Venom character in the last movie because he didn't like(and has admitted the whole time) the Venom Character in the comics, but fans wanted him so bad that he put it in and then killed him off very badly.... Why because Sam had complete control and could do whatever the hell he wanted(it was a stupid fucking idea though)

Venom is getting his own movie and rumors are Carnage will be in it as the main villian
