People are always asking, "What's your favorite song," and it's always difficult for me to come up with an answer because it's such a subjective question. I have different favorites at different times of the day. The one thing, however, that can't lie, is the play count on my iTunes. I was looking at my iTunes at work today, and it was kind of surprising. Anyway, these are my top five from my work computer
"The Rat" by The Walkmen:
added 8/5/08. Play Count: 23x
"Thunder Road" by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band:
added 5/30/08. Play Count: 22x
"Subbacultcha" by the Pixies
added 5/21/08. Play Count: 19x
"Portions for Foxes" by Rilo Kiley
added 8/1/08. Play Count: 19x
"Baby, I Need Your Loving" by The Four Tops
added 6/3/08. Play Count: 18x
I'd be interested to see what other people's top fives are. I'm going to take a look on my home iTunes later tonight.

ALO - Wasting Time (Isla Vista) - 30 plays

Ok! From my home computer now
"Big Sister's Clothes" Elvis Costello: 113x
"Forever Young" Alphaville: 85x
"Santaria" Sublime: 84x (which is a huge surprise because I really don't even like Sublime...)
"Somebody To Love" Queen: 78x
"Date Rape" Sublime: 74x (another shocker...i swear someone hijacked my computer...this totally kills my street cred.)
"Mad World" Tears for Fears: 74x
What an odd discovery. I guess I'm a closet Sublime fan.

My Home Computer:
Since Format 8/12/08
Kings Of Leon - Holy Roller Novacaine 64x - my whitey rock mix
Raconteurs - Consoler of The Lonely 62x - pre-game warm up
Ben Harper - Black Rain 58x - election time justice!!!
Black Keys - I Got Mine 54x - same mix as Raconteurs
Jack Johnson - Rodeo Clowns 52x - chillin mix
But a little freakier is what I found just farther down the list:
2Pac - How Do You Want It - 39x &
DJ Kool - Let Me Clear My Throat @ 38x
I mean, they're classics, but I got more homie in me then I realized.
This was a cool idea, I didn't realize how much I rely on streamed content, and how little I listen to full songs out of my library!!
