I walked out of this movie about ten minutes into it. Right at the scene where she walks in front of a fan, and the gay dude with mascara gets the dick shivers.

my sister read all the books and loved them so I went to see this with here........through the years my tastes in movies has been forced on her so she does have good movie sense...........I fucked HATED this without reading the book at all..........HATE.......i will not spoil the shit show incase someone wants to see it (i dont know why)........my sister didn't hate it, but hardly liked it. Also we saw it opeining weekend, which was like an Nsync concert with all the screaming little girls......that definitely made me hate it more as well

The trailer was enough for me to not waste my money, instead i downloaded "Let The Right One In", im gonna go to the Movies Thread and see if i can upload it, maybe is time i give something to the place other than a broken keyboard, wish me luck :rolleyes:

Although I havent seen it, I'm sure I wont like it. In fact, I refuse to watch this. I love me a good vampire movie/book, so to see vampires portrayed as gay as this makes me want to avoid this shit like the plague.

Unfortunately - there are 3 more movies. My 12 yr old niece and all her friends have seen this movie way more times than I honestly can stomach. I burnt her a copy as soon as I found one online, and she has all the books to boot. I know I perpetuated a problem, but being a sarcastic SOB I was cleaning her laptop (can you charge family for IT - I am always doing it) and I was going to change her homepage to a site I found on another site. I agree with Sera on one thing - Megan Fox FTW. That would have made me see it.

I have seen low budget vampire movie's that were better than this. Really the whole blinging in sunlight really just ruined for me.

as someone who has read the whole series i will say compared to the book the movie was shit. but rarely is a good book made into a good movie (the shining anyone???) things get crazy as the series progresses and i worry how that will translate in a movie. i hate that little kristen stewart bitch. when she finally becomes a vampire and she's supposed to be all drop dead gorgeous they'll have to recast her role.
