What is the best smashing pumkins album

I like all the earlier stuff. Personally, i love Gish, Siamese Dream, and Pieces Iscaraiot. I really like Mellon Collie and Adore too.

The thing is, most all the CDs are REALLY good which is something you cant say about most artists. So a pumpkins CD that isnt as good as the rest is still pretty damn good.

Singles, covers,B-sides from the Mellon Collie CD

I bought the Gish CD when it first came out. I remember seeing a video on MTV's 120 minutes and thought who was this fucking band!!!!! The thing that impressed me the most about their early stuff and it still does, is not so much Billy Corgan's presence, which was huge... but Jimmy Chamberlin's drumming!!! Incredibly crisp and tight and dynamic and totally manic all at the same time. One of the best I've ever heard.

gotta say I am a huge Pumpkins fan.......saw them a week ago in NYC, they were terrible. I have every album and have listened to them all multiple times, and they played about 5 or 6 songs I knew. Some were new unreleased songs, others were newer songs of newer albums, and just not good. I have NEVER left a concert on more of a down, the encore were two songs that were just terrible, and not the way I would like to remember SP.
