What do you think is regular?

Alright, so I've been reading some of the posts and I'm curious. What do you all consider "getting regular sex" if you're in a committed relationship?

Reason why I ask is I typically only get some once every 4 to 6 weeks (yes, Palmela and I are still very close). Granted, I only see her on weekends cos of our work schedules and I know it wouldn't constitute regular for most of y'all. Still curious what you all consider regular. Remember this isn't how often would you like to get some if you could.

Wow! Really? Once every 4-6 weeks? I have restaurants I go to more often than that. I've been married almost 17 years and we still have sex multiple times per week.
In reality, regular is a relative term. What matters is your expectations / desires. If once every 4-6 weeks is what both of you want, then no problem. If one or both of you really want something different (which I'm guessing you do since you've posted here), then you two need to sit down and have a long discussion.

That's way too long... I think a couple times in a week for a committed relationship is normal. Otherwise you should be getting something on the side to satisfy normal human instincts. If you think about it a couple times a week is not too much too ask for. I mean why wouldn't it be happening more? I'm drunk right now and if it were up to me I'd be hittin' anything that walked my way but whatever. I think you need to get some poon ASAP because that is just wrong... I mean we are sexual beings and if it doesn't happen everyday than we can deal but more than a couple days and shit gets fucked...

I'm married, so for me regular is is about two to three times a week when she is on. When off, I am lucky to get a bj or hj.

A few times a week is pretty normal for a long term relationship, or anything really once your past the 6 month fuck like bunnies stage.

Obviously it will vary based on schedules, stress, kids, etc but should be at least a couple of times a week. Aside from the stress relief parts, it's a way to bond with your girl and for her to bond with you.

If your at every 4-6 weeks and see her more than once every 4-6 weeks it is time to walk away and find someone new.

i don't think you have to scrap a relationship just because you're having sex so infrequently, but in my opinion, you probably need to talk about it.

The original question was if you're in a committed relationship, what would you consider regular sex. Not how often do you want it on the real cos I think most of us want it more than we actually get but what would you consider a regular amount of sex.

In a relationship i hope to get it at least 3 times a week, hopefully 5-6 though.
Thing is, your dealing with 2 people's schedules and sometimes it's hard to find time if you both work different hours and/or have busy lifestyles. :o
