This will be the official DSF Fantasy Football Thread to talk smack, to talk trades, to just talk football, or fantasy in general.

To start off, we can add a few more guys in the league(or girls!), so if you're still interested, PM me.


Also, I just put the draft date a few weeks away, but if we get a coupla people consensus-ing on a date, it will ensure more people showing up for the live draft.

Question...why did you have the draft so early? Aug 1st and the season doesn't start for a month after...what if a big name gets hurt in preseason? Or were you just that excited and couldn't wait to get started?

I agree, lets have the draft no more then two weeks before the start of play.

Do you want bonus points for exceptional games?

like a 5 passing touchdown game = 10 bonus points?

OK, but with 2 RB and a flex...what yardage should be achieved to earn a bonus?

If a RB goes over 150 yards, or has 3 touchdowns.

WR, same deal. I think the 150 plateau is hard to reach nowadays.

it's a total of possibly 3 RBs, so 450?


I have the Fox Sports League set up..PM me e-mail addresses for invites...limit 20 (that's the most it would let me) I threw in all kinds of bonuses and bumped up some of the points to make for interesting games...

LIVE DRAFT...set for 8/30 at 12pm est right now...but it can be changed if everyone can agree on a time...


and after everyone joins....take a look at the rules and scoring and give your input...they can be changed...

im against defensive players. Teams work better IMO.

I vote for teams...gets to crazy with individual defensive players.

I've played with Both and like playing with Defensive positions, but it is fine with me if the consensus is without players.

oh i also just noticed... 20 teams????? thats crazy! i think there should be 12 tops! believe me i've played in leagues with 16 teams, and there's not enough players to make it competitive.
