I don't think that the size or length of the lips would matter much as long as the woman's hygiene is good. Just like an uncircumcised man, a woman with longer lips might have to pay a little more attention down there. I work in the print industry and what people define as classical porn is far from it. In a nutshell, though, it really doesn't matter what we all think - just what she thinks. If having the surgery would make her feel better, then by all means do it. The only advice I have would be to do a lot of research beforehand. She should consider things like loss of sensitivity and scarring and should also request some before/after photos so she can have realistic expectations of the outcome.
